Virtual tour: Fishing with Lewis and Clark

The Undaunted Anglers virtual exhibit lets you take a seat aboard a keelboat, stand on the shores of the Missouri and see the fish as Capt. Meriwether Lewis and William Clark did as they ventured across the United States. The virtual exhibit of more than 100 panels takes a comprehensive look at the types of fish they encountered, the methods they used to fish, and the relationships they made with American Indians in exchange for fish as sustenance as well as to gain the skills to catch fish. The exhibit, moreover, documents their discovery of newly documented fish. Ultimately, you will learn that fish were an integral part of their expedition.
